AIMS RULES AND REGULATIONS

Discipline and Behavior:

  • All students admitted in college must observe and adhere rules and regulation that may be framed for time to time by college.
  • Students are required to maintain absolute self discipline in the college and hospital campus.
  • Student must show obedient to all the teaching staff as well as all other staff of the college.
  • Use of Mobile is prohibited in class room, laboratory, clinical area and lobby. If found using the Phone, the instrument will be confiscated and fine will be imposed as per Gujarat University Norms.
  • No guest or visitors should be allowed in classroom/laboratory/library.
  • Student must conserve electricity and water. They must switch off lights and fans when they leave the classroom and laboratories
  • Student should not allow going outside the college campus without taking permission from class co-coordinator and gate pass.
  • Anyone who notices something damage, should report the matter to concern authority and should pay for same.
  • Students who come to college by their own transport should come to college before 9 am and during clinical posting should reach at clinic at 8 am.
  • Identity card should be with the students always to be presented when asked for by any staff members.
  • Students must read the notice board regularly on which will be put up notices regarding, Timetable, Exam Schedule, Tutorial, Sports, Cultural activities, Scholarship, Examination form, Fees and notice from the college authority.
  • Students can approach the principal for issues concerning academics.
  • It is mandatory for students to be in neat and clean designated uniforms during Clinical Posting.
  • Apron is compulsory for all students during college hours and clinical.
  • College authority will not be responsible for any happening with students before and after official college hours.

Ragging:

  • Ragging is strictly prohibited in the college campus as well as in the hostel
  • Both junior & senior students are required to maintain cordial relation with one another and a disciplined atmosphere in the college campus.

Attendance:

  • The term will only be granted if the student has 75% attendance in class and 75% attendance in clinic.
  • For any absent in clinical area without prior permission a student has to do following make up duties.
  • For Sick leave 1:1
  • For Absent 1:2

Tutorial Assessment:

  • Unit Test: Monthly Twice Unit test is conducted for every unit in all respected subjects.
  • First Term Examination:  40marks with the time duration of 2 Hr Exam would be taken of all respected subjects.
  • Preliminary Examination:  80 marks with the time duration of 3 Hr Exam would be taken of all respected subjects.
  • Practical Exam also would be taken for the same.

Library Rules:

  • Library card and Identity card have to be presented for issuing books from library. Notices concerning in the library will be put on Library Notice board.

Sports Activities:

According to the pre-decided schedule the interclass competition for Chess, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Cricket and Athletics will be organized.

A.M.T.S. & S.T. Bus Concessional Pass:

  • Concessional forms will be stamped and signed only after the respective term fees receipts are presented.

Mark sheet of the university exams will be issued only to those students submitting the fee receipt of the university exam and identity card.

IAP, IAPWC and AIMS organised workshop on “MIND YOUR MIND” by Shilpa Agarrwal (Clinical Hypnotherapist & Mind Transformation Expert) in celebration of World Mental Health Day

6th Convocation Ceremony 2022

6th Convocation Ceremony 2022 was organised by AIMS college at Tagore Hall on 12th September 2022 and celebrated on the theme of Azaadi Amrut Mahotsav, where Dr. Jitendra Adhiya and Dr. Yagna Shukla were the Chief Guests. And college Principal Dr. T. Kanna Amarnath, Dr. Alpa Purohit and more than 500 people including other staff, parents and students were present, out of which about 80 students were awarded graduation degrees and scholarships were given to students who brought ranks in the university.
